Tekoa

Tekoa is the temporary manager of the Yamaha Emporium. He's tasked with keeping the store open.

General Information

Personality

Tekoa is a straightfoward person. In that way he's kind and hard-working, and very personable with others. In another way, he doesn't think through what he says and ignores detail. This often gives him a reputation as oblivious, which is only half true; he can see nuance, but only if something is wrong.

As a result, he often tries to get a rise out of people when he knows them well, but quickly apologizes if it gets out of hand.

Backstory

A beloved instrument, worn by time. With years of usage he broke, and was sold on an online auction site for parts or repair. An old man buys him right up and makes him into a robot, a somewhat common occurance among hobbyists. Under the auspices of the somewhat wealthy senior, he works as an assistant to stock inventory. At the very least, until the old man went into retirement; leaving his robot son in charge of the store as he went for a trip.

Tekoa does not do well, considering he was the only employee, but after a while, Muse comes into the shop looking for work and is hired on the spot.

Relationships

Muse

His coworker, friend, and a lot of other things. Ultimately they're both passionate about their shared hobbies and hold each other in quite high regard, despite their differences and personalities.
Tekoa tends to tease him quite a bit, becasue that's how he's used to showing affection. Due to Muse's personality though, it tends to escalate in to straight up shenanigans.

Xia

Tekoa always falls for his attempts to get discounted or free stuff. Or is it just because they know each other? Either way, they're good friends and tend to echo each other's excitement.

Seimei

Tekoa seems to not be intimidated at all by Seimei, even despite his status in the community. As such (and as with most robots), Seimei is doting towards him back.
