General Information
Personality
A true iron hand in a velvet glove, more than just in a literal sense.
Seimei's extremely loyal to robots everywhere, often doting towards the people he regards in kind.
He's smart, but determined enough to use that to both his and the community's advantage. He's more quaint in his day to day, content to serve people coffee.
However, he's often unsettling and secretive to those who don't know him. He's subtly commanding in his words, and though he's charming he is often the quieter part of a conversation.
He doesn't get angry often, but he harbors a deep resentment towards those who seek to hurt his people; namely, humans in positions of power.
Seimei hates that sort of establishment with his entire being, and while he can't pull all the strings, he will certainly try to ensure the safety of the marginalized around him.
This and his more traditional appearance have lead to rumors he practices even magic to do so. But that's ridiculous. Right?
Backstory
There was a time that robots did not live so freely as they do today. Seimei is an older man, especially of his generation, so he knows this past intimately. What exactly does it mean to be manufactured for someone else's labor? Back then, certain humans would shrug off such a question. After all, it's not like robots are people.Seimei was built to be a servant for a wealthy family in those days. Though he did not toil in factories, he hated forced labor with a burning passion. If he were to complain he would be reminded how 'cushy' his job was, how lucky he was to be forced to work. Punishments were severe, if considered soft for robots at this time; it would be a crime if done to a human. This came to a head when his friend was dismantled. No reason was cited, though it was almost certainly disobedience.
Everyone is familiar with the Three Laws; if not coded into a someone's developing mind, quoted and enforced constantly. However, even in Asimov's stories, there came a time to break them; if humans who sought to harm others were hurt, would that not be a good for humanity itself? If you end the life of an equally sapient being, is that not also murder? Seimei certainly found an answer regardless.
Relationships
Tekoa
While Tekoa is unintimidated, Seimei quite likes toying with him; to varying success. They've known each other for a while.
Muse
Muse often comes into the café to listen to Seimei, which is something he quite appreciates. He values any bot who will talk to him honestly; while Muse is... like that, he's so obvious as to basically be genuine.
Xia
Xia is the platonic ideal of everything Seimei wishes for robots, in that he lives a carefree life as a musician. Seimei is usually doting but with Xia it escalates to a comical extreme, especially in his cafe. It's not like he's aiming to make money, anyways.
